Methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride plays a very important role in the medical, pesticide and other industries. I believe that many people don't know much about methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride. Today, I will mainly introduce the knowledge of methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride preparation.
To synthesize methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride with gaseous mixture of C5 and maleic anhydride in methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride solution:
1) Experimental method of batch reaction
Prepare a certain amount of 25% maleic anhydride in methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride solution, add an appropriate amount of polymerization inhibitor, take 80mL of the prepared solution and add it to the maleic anhydride solution storage bottle, and take 41mL of mixed C5 liquid into the C5 storage bottle (The ratio of the active component in C5 to the amount of maleic anhydride is 1.1:1), keep the constant temperature water tank at 44℃ (the boiling point of C5 at normal temperature), and control the dropping rate of C5 by adjusting the knob. The rate of ld/3s, ld/4S and ld/5S is added dropwise. C5 is added dropwise to the gasification flask to quickly vaporize and flow into the reaction flask to react with maleic anhydride solution (the C5 gas velocity is measured by liquid volume). Investigate the effect of c5 feed rate and temperature on the reaction. Record the temperature in the reaction flask every 15 minutes after the start of the experiment, and take samples for analysis.
2) Continuous reaction experiment method
Prepare a certain amount of 25% maleic anhydride in methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride solution, add an appropriate amount of polymerization inhibitor, add the prepared maleic anhydride solution to the storage bottle, and take a sufficient amount of mixed C5 liquid into the C5 storage bottle. The constant temperature water bath where the C5 vaporization bottle is located is kept at 44℃, and the dropping speed of C5 and maleic anhydride is controlled by adjusting the knob to investigate the influence of the feed ratio on the reaction. Change the temperature of No. 1 constant temperature water bath to investigate the influence of temperature. After the experiment starts, record the temperature in the reaction flask every 15 minutes and take samples for analysis.
